Reminders Through the End of the School Year

There is a lot going on the rest of this month! Here are a few reminders to help you get through it:

– Library books are due back to our school this Friday, May 19th. Please check your home for any stray books that may need to be returned.

– Please join us for a potluck planned for this Sunday, May 21, at noon (after the 10:30 am service). Mrs. Hasselquist will be honored for serving her last year here at Salem and for serving a total of 40 years in the teaching ministry, we will also celebrate Mrs. Hansen for teaching for 25 years and thank the other teachers for their service as well. A sign-up is in the school office for bringing a dish to pass. Please sign up and let us know what you plan to bring.

If you would like to leave a message, picture, or video, feel free to follow this link to a kudoboard where you can honor Mrs. Hasselquist: https://www.kudoboard.com/boards/B68DUa7q

We hope it is a good weather day since all events are outside. If not, the rain date is Thursday, June 1.

-Last day of school is Thursday, June 1 for preschool. Please see your teacher’s notes for more information.

-Last day of school is Friday, June 2 for K-8. The last chapel service for the year will be held at 9:20 am that morning and all are welcome to attend. The kids will be dismissed at 12:00 pm. No after-school care is available. Families are welcome to meet at Washington Park in Stillwater and bring their own lunches for a picnic. This is a great way to end the year with some fellowship and fun. We hope the weather allows families to meet up there again this year!
