Faith Based History & Culture Curriculum

Salem’s middle school seeks to help students engage with history and culture by connecting them to a wide variety of experiences and learning opportunities. heir community by providing a diverse set of experiences. Our curriculum integrates Christian values, teaching students to understand the past through the lens of faith.

A core component of this study is experiential learning. Salem Lutheran Middle School delves into the local history of Stillwater, MN and our larger twin cities metro area through visits to historic sites and museums. Students in 7th and 8th grade are also invited participate in a biennial trip to Washington DC where they visit important federal and national historic sites and cultural institutions.

Comprehensive Physical Education

At Salem Lutheran School, our physical education program emphasizes the importance of a healthy, active lifestyle. Students participate in various sports and activities designed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship within a Christian context.
