Enrollment for 2026-2027
If your child(ren) are returning to Salem next year and you haven’t completed the continuous enrollment contract via DocuSign, please do so as soon as possible! You also received a Financial Aid Assistance Application through DocuSign. You are not required to fill this out if you do not want to apply for financial aid. Both of these documents are due no later than March 1st.
If you plan to withdraw your child(ren) for the upcoming school year, please fill out the Withdrawal Form.
Everyone gets a Yearbook
Everyone will be receiving a yearbook this year, so there is no need to order one! The yearbooks will arrive in May and will be sent home with your children.
March 12 – Education Night 5:30-7:15
Mark your calendars! Salem’s Education Night gives teachers and students the opportunity to present some of our esteemed academic material. This year, each classroom will feature its own educational theme. From learning foundations and biblical studies to intriguing science experiments, there are sure to be multiple topics that appeal to all!
Salem Lutheran School will also present our annual Education Night Music Concert in the gym. We have many different groups from our school: our band, choirs, and small ensembles performing secular and sacred songs.
March 16–20 – Spring Break
School will not be in session the week of March 16 for Spring Break. The school office will also be closed that week. Enjoy the week off with your families!
April 16 – PK and Kindergarten Spring Play
Save the date! Preschool and Kindergarten will present “Getting Down with Mother Goose.” Watch for more information as the date approaches.
Winter Sports Update
Our C-Team basketball players have officially wrapped up their season! This group showed tremendous growth throughout the year, developing their skills and rising to the challenge game after game.
Playing their home games at Christ Lutheran proved to be a fantastic fit for our team, giving our players the perfect environment to showcase their talents and build their confidence on the court.
The dedication and improvement this group demonstrated this season are strong signs of great things to come in the years ahead! Go Saints!
Spring Sports Update
Spring sports are starting soon! Sign-ups will open in the first week of March.

Bowling will begin on March 24th and is open to 4th-8th graders.
If you are interested in helping in either of those positions, please email Tom Stob (tstob@salemlutheran.org).

Referral Program
The school board approved a program that offered incentives to recruit new families to our school. If a family with children enrolled refers a new family to Salem, they will receive a $200 tuition credit at Christmas for each family they refer. A church family that refers a new family will receive a $200 script gift card at Christmas per family if they so choose. There is no limit to the number of families you can refer. If you have any more questions about the program, speak to a School Board member or Mr. Klatt.

We Are Also Collecting Aluminum Cans and Pop Tabs
Aluminum cans benefit our athletic program. They can be bagged up and placed in the wooden bin next to the garage facing Panama Ave. (I’m sorry, this is hard to find. We have had cans stolen, so we keep them hidden.) We will continue to support the Ronald McDonald House by participating in the Pop Tab program. The cash received goes directly to support the Ronald McDonald House. Cans can also be dropped off in the bin at the school entrance.
Prayer
One way we often forget to help our school and church is to pray for them throughout the year. Your prayers are always a blessing, and it is great to know that you are asking God for his blessings in our school and church year.
