Music
Salem is blessed with a variety of musical groups and talents which is used in worship. However, we are always looking for new members to enhance worship through their talents. These groups are always open to new musicians!
Choir
The Sr. Choir meets once a week to prepare vocal selections that enhance the worship experience. The music is 3 and 4 part using soprano, alto, tenor, and bass voices. Choir members need the ability to read music. The choir sometimes employs instrumental accompaniments such as brass, woodwinds and stringed instruments. Special music for the holiday seasons usually necessitates additional practice time and utilizes these instruments. If you like to sing and can attend rehearsals, contact Roger Zolldan or attend a scheduled practice, normally on Wednesday evenings at 6:30p.
Men's Chorus
If you would like to serve by bringing glory to God in four part men's music, please contact one of the current members of this chorus, Lowell Koenig, the church office, or just show up for practice. We meet at 7:30p on Wednesdays.
Handbell Choir
Salem's handbell choir is always looking for new members! The only prerequisite is the ability to read music. Rehearsals are 5:30p on Thursdays. Contact the church office or Jennifer Jewell for more information.
