Welcome! Thank you for joining us for worship today. In our services we gather before our almighty God to receive his gifts and to offer him our worship and praise. Through God’s powerful Word and Sacraments he renews our faith and strengthens us to serve in joy.
We confess almost every week in worship that God is “the maker of heaven and earth.” He did not simply create the world and then leave us to ourselves, though. God continues to protect and provide for his people. This is the reason Jesus taught us to pray, “Give us today our daily bread” in the Lord’s Prayer. In tonight’s service of Thanksgiving we remember the blessings God gives to us as “daily bread.” We give thanks tonight to the one who blesses us with every blessing.
