Today, the Christian church is often seen as just another broken system—no different than a bureaucratic government, an unjust court, or a greedy corporation. This week, we see how Christianity calls us to a greater responsibility. Church membership isn’t just having your name on a list, attending for an hour on Sunday, or offering blind loyalty to an institution. It’s about being responsible for people—not just on Sundays, but every day.
