Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church

Reverend Marcus Birkholz, Senior Pastor, has been with Salem since 1985. He is married to Cheri and they have 4 grown children and 12 grandchildren. His education is through the WELS schools and seminary plus many years in the service of the Lord. Pastor Birkholz is an avid hunter and fisherman. Cheri is a nurse in the Stillwater medical community.

Reverend Jonathan Brohn, Associate Pastor, has been serving Salem since August, 2003. Pastor Brohn and his wife Kay have 3 children. He completed his education at Northwestern College, Watertown, WI, and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI. He has also taught music and religion on the high school level, coached football and basketball, and served a congregation in Houston, TX, for seven years before coming to Salem. Pastor Brohn enjoys fishing, all kinds of sports, reading, music, and working in the yard.

Debbie Swanson is our church secretary. She is assisted by the school secretary and several volunteers.
